Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how long we keep it.

Who this covers
This policy describes how Silex Strategies LLC ("Silex Strategies", "we", "us") handles information about people who visit silexstrategies.co, apply for a seat, hold a member account, or contact support.
- 02
What we collect
When you apply for a seat, the form asks for your name, your email address, a password, your NinjaTrader account email, how long you have been trading, your experience with automation, the operating system you run, the account type you intend to use, whether NinjaTrader is installed and connected to a data feed, and optionally your phone number, the instruments you trade, and anything else you want to tell us.
We ask for the NinjaTrader account email at application rather than later, because it is the identifier a licence is issued against and getting it wrong is the commonest reason activation fails.
When you contact us, we collect your name, your email address, the subject you picked, and your message.
Applying is what creates your account, so the password above is collected at that point and stored only as a cryptographic hash. We cannot read it. The account exists whether or not the application is approved, and it is what lets you sign in and see where the application stands.
When you subscribe, billing is processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and holds your payment card details. We never receive or store your card number. We receive from Stripe a customer identifier, the status of your subscription, the last four digits and card brand, and billing country.
When you use the site, our host records standard server log data: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and timestamps.
We count page views in two ways, neither of which identifies you. Our own record stores the page requested, the domain of the site that linked you to us, and any campaign tags on the address. It contains no IP address, no browser or device information, no cookie, and no identifier of any kind, so it cannot be traced back to a person or joined to anything else we hold. Pages behind your login, the report, and the admin area are excluded from it entirely.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by our host, which is cookieless, counts visits in aggregate, and does not follow you to other websites.
If you reached this site from one of our advertisements, Google's advertising tag records that the visit came from that ad and whether it ended in a submitted application. It sets a cookie in order to connect those two events. It runs only on the public pages of this site, never on any page behind your login, and what it reports back to us is a count of applications against a campaign rather than anything about you individually.
We do not use session recording of any kind, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share your information with advertisers or data brokers. Apart from the advertising cookie described above, the only cookies this site sets are the ones that keep you signed in.
We do not ask for and do not want your brokerage or prop firm login credentials, API keys, account numbers, or any credential that would permit anyone other than you to place an order or move funds. If you send us such information unsolicited, we will delete it and ask you not to send it again.
- 03
Why we use it
- To review your application and decide whether to offer a seat
- To create and operate your member account
- To issue, maintain and revoke your software licence
- To take payment and manage your subscription
- To provide support and to diagnose problems you report
- To send transactional messages about your account, licence, billing and product updates
- To keep records we are required or reasonably need to keep, including for tax and accounting purposes
- To protect the service against fraud, abuse and unauthorised access
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use it to build profiles for anyone else.
- 04
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who need it to operate the service, and only for that purpose.

Name, email, payment card details, billing address Payment processing and subscription billing Supabase Account data, application data, support records Database, authentication and file storage Vercel Inc. To issue your licence we must pass your NinjaTrader account identifier to NinjaTrader. There is no way to license the software without this.
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, if we need to in order to establish or defend a legal claim, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business, in which case the recipient would be bound by terms no less protective than these.

Links to NinjaTrader and Kinetick
Some links on this site take you to NinjaTrader® or Kinetick®, and we may receive a referral fee if you open an account through one. We are told that an account was opened. We are not given your name, your email address, your trading activity or anything about your account.
Once you follow one of those links you are on their website and their privacy policy applies rather than ours.
- 06
Where it is held
Our providers are based in the United States and your information is processed there.
- 07
How long we keep it
- Applications that do not lead to a seat: 24 months. Seats are released over time and an earlier application is how we know who to go back to, which is what the period is for.
- Member accounts: for as long as the account exists, then 12 months after closure.
- Billing and tax records: as long as required by law, which is generally at least seven years.
- Support correspondence: 24 months.
- 08
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@silexstrategies.co and we will respond within 30 days.
Some information we cannot delete on request: records we are legally required to keep, and information we need to establish or defend a legal claim. If we refuse a deletion request we will tell you why.
You can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time. We will still send messages that are necessary to operate your account, such as billing failures and licence expiry, for as long as you hold an account.
If you are a California resident, the rights above are the rights the CCPA gives you, and we apply them to everyone rather than only to Californians. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we will not treat you differently for exercising a right.
- 09
Security
Passwords are stored hashed. Access to member data is limited to the developer. Payment card data never reaches our systems. Credentials for third party services are rotated when access changes.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information we will notify you and any regulator we are required to notify, without undue delay.
- 10
Children
The service is not offered to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
- 11
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will notify account holders by email.
